About the role

If you are a pest control technician looking for a new venue, Guardian might be the right place for you. Some of our technicians has been with us from the very beginning and some used to be sole traders before they joined forces with us. We want to be a learning company and take pride in being on top of current developments in the business. As a technician with us we would supply you with everything you need to do your job efficiently with high quality while paying attention to the cost side of the works.

You need to be prepared for a sometimes-intensive schedule and be able to keep calm during the high seasons, which should come as no surprise. We service a geographically large area, and it would be expected of you to be ready to work across our entire area of operations.  

For us to hire an already trained technician you must have mastered all essential aspects of the trade, including units 5, 6 , 8, 10 and 18. Any and all accreditations with pest control and pre-construction products are of interest. We would highly value your previous experiences and are ready to learn from what you have picked up as a professional technician.

You must meet the following criteria:

  • Pest Control Technicians license, including units 5, 6, 8, 10 and 18
  • Able to show strong attention to detail and ability to use modern technology
  • Punctual, reliable and hardworking
  • Confident communicator through verbal and written means, using IT solutions.
  • Able to work well unsupervised as well as in teams
  • Great customer service representative

The role provides office support with advanced IT solutions and reporting procedures in a friendly work environment. Upon hiring, you will gain the use of a fully equipped vehicle, mobile phone, tools and work clothes. We will introduce and train you with our dispatch system and all other IT solutions we use.

Our wages are competitive, starting at $50K per year plus commissions.
